An awkward job to remove a large Oak tree, with a listed Eighteenth Century wall on one side and a newly laid drive on the other. One mistake and a sizeable insurance claim would have been on the cards.
The use of an HGV with a heavy-duty telescopic crane meant the job was executed without dropping heavy sections of timber onto the clients drive (or onto the wall). It also allowed a large section of the trunk to be taken away and milled for timber, a rarity in London.
